I was lucky to spend almost half of 2006 in Nepal doing my dissertation fieldwork and working for UNESCO.

In Spring and Summer of 2005, I traveled through Nepal, India, Iran, Turkey and Greece, mostly overland. These are pictures from what I remember as one of the happiest times in my life.

In the summer of 2004 I volunteered at a microfinance bank on Kenya's beautiful coast.
